Dental Billing Specialist

About the Role
Do you love kids and numbers? Put both passions to work as our Dental Billing Specialist.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our revenue cycle runs smoothly - from accurate payment posting and EOB (Explanation of Benefits) processing to maintaining up-to-date patient accounts. You'll work closely with Office Managers and our corporate Revenue Cycle team to keep billing operations compliant, efficient, and precise.

What You'll Do
Post and reconcile payments accurately and efficiently (manual and electronic EOBs)
Review, evaluate, and resolve billing discrepancies and claim denials
Ensure claims are submitted accurately and within time limits (under 90 days)
Maintain accurate patient account records and accounts receivable
Collaborate with Office Managers to improve billing and collection processes
Monitor billing performance metrics and contribute to team goals
Stay current on billing regulations and best practices through ongoing education
Support compliance with all company, state, and federal billing regulations
What We're Looking For
Dental billing experience required (minimum 1 year preferred)
Solid understanding of accounts receivable and EOB processing
Strong computer and software skills (dental software experience preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced setting
Dental assisting background is a plus but not required
Schedule
Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts
