Job Description
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to support a community-based outpatient dental clinic in Pawnee, Oklahoma on a 3-month contract with the option to extend, starting as soon as credentialing is complete. This opportunity is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys providing preventive dental care in a patient-focused, team-oriented setting.
Position Overview
The Dental Hygienist will deliver routine and preventive dental services while educating patients on proper oral hygiene. You will work closely with dentists and support staff to ensure high-quality care and efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing
Conduct oral health assessments and document findings
Take dental radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
Accurately document care in the medical record
Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
Active Oklahoma Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
BLS certification required
Prior clinical or outpatient dental experience preferred
Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
Assignment Details
Contract length: 3 months with the option to extend
