JOB TITLE: Dental Hygienist Temp to Permanent | 3 Days/Week (Full-Time) | Oak Harbor, WA
JOB SUMMARY / ABOUT THE ROLE:
Lemme Dental Studio is a modern, patient-centered dental practice in Oak Harbor, WA, where exceptional care and genuine connection are at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a warm, skilled Dental Hygienist to cover a maternity leave of approximately 3 months — with a likelihood of transitioning into a permanent position. At Lemme Dental Studio, full-time is 3 days per week, and that's exactly what this role offers.
If you're the kind of hygienist who remembers a patient's name, picks up on their nerves, and makes them feel genuinely cared for — you'll fit right in here. We move efficiently behind the scenes, but our patients always feel like they have all the time in the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and patient education
- Build authentic rapport with patients of all ages and anxiety levels
- Document charting and clinical notes accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with Dr. Lemme, Dr. Bast, and the care team
- Contribute to a calm, welcoming patient experience from check-in to checkout
- Assist with digital X-rays and other in-office dental technology
REQUIREMENTS:
- Active Washington State Registered Dental Hygienist license (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-first environment
- Genuine passion for patient-centered care
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in a multi-provider dental practice
- Familiarity with Invisalign, implant maintenance, or cosmetic dentistry workflows
