The GPR residency is a post-graduate training program in all areas of general dentistry with a focus on advanced restorative and/or medical complex cases.Located intheUofL Health Jackson Street Outpatient Centerat550 S Jackson St, Louisville, KY 40202.
This is a part-time position, 3 days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Obtains vital signs, reviews medical history, performs preliminary exam, charts a periodontal examination if indicated.
Obtains digital bitewing and periapical x-rays asindicated.
Provides direct patient care for GPR clinic patients to include oral hygiene instruction, scaling of teeth, root planning, periodontal maintenance, and dental prophylaxis.
Instructs patientsinthe cause, prevention, and consequences of periodontal disease.
Instructs patients onappropriate oralhygiene techniques.
Provide nutritional counseling whenindicated.
Maintains instruments and operatory according to accepted standards.
Manages recall appointment schedules and records.
Works in conjunction with GPR residents to deliver quality patient care.
Other duties as assigned.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$47.04Target Compensation Minimum:
$31.37Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
