We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator/Billing professional to join our dynamic team.
Job Description: As a Dental Insurance Coordinator/Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and verifying patient insurance information, ensuring accurate billing and claims submissions, and working with insurance companies to resolve any issues. You will be an integral part of our front office team, helping us maintain smooth operations and deliver excellent customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Verify patient insurance information and eligibility
- Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Review insurance policies and patient benefits
- Post payments and adjustments to patient accounts
- Resolve patient and insurance billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient billing records
- Collaborate with dental providers to ensure accurate coding for procedures
- Assist in other administrative tasks as needed
- Schedule the Doctors to maximum Efficiency
- Present treatment plans to patients and get acceptance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Dental Office experience preferred)
- Prior experience in dental billing and insurance coordination preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance policies and terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite
