Job Description

Are you an experienced administrative professional ready to take the next major step in your career? Do you thrive on organization, love helping people, and want a clear path to a leadership role?

American Dental Associates Ltd. is looking for a motivated professional with strong administrative roots to step into a key role at our Chicago office. Whether you are an experienced dental receptionist ready to step up, a medical admin looking for a better environment, or a sharp coordinator with a passion for leadership, we want to invest in your growth.

You will start by mastering our daily front office operations with the ultimate goal of transitioning into a full Dental Office Manager / Leader role.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Lead Front Office Operations: Oversee daily front desk workflows with a sharp focus on detail, efficiency, and a seamless patient experience.

  • Patient Advocacy: Welcome and assist patients in person and over the phone, acting as the warm, professional face of our practice.

  • Treatment & Financial Coordination: Present treatment plans and explain financial options clearly and confidently to help patients get the care they need.

  • Practice Logistics: Coordinate appointment scheduling, handle insurance verifications, and maintain accurate patient records.

  • Bridge the Gap: Support seamless communication between clinical and administrative teams to ensure a unified office culture.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

  • The Right Experience: Previous experience in an administrative, front desk, or hospitality role (healthcare or dental preferred, but we will train the right leader).

  • Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn the ropes, take on responsibility, and grow into a long-term management position.

  • Exceptional Communication: A service-first mindset with the confidence to discuss treatment plans and financial options with patients.

  • Rock-Solid Organization: Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and professional under pressure.

  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with dental/medical practice software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a major plus, but a quick learner is even better.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us (Benefits)

  • Competitive Compensation: Based on your current experience, with scheduled reviews as you hit your leadership milestones.

  • Performance Bonuses: Opportunities tied directly to office performance and patient engagement.

  • Work-Life Balance: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) & Paid Holidays.

  • Health & Wealth: Comprehensive Medical Insurance and a 401(k) with Employer Match.

  • Perks: Employee discounts on dental services.

  • Culture: Supportive leadership and a modern, team-oriented office environment.
