- Supervise and support our dental billing team with hands-on leadership.
- Train, coach, and onboard team members to ensure consistent excellence.
- Foster accountability, performance, and continuous growth.
- Build, improve, and refine systems that increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor claim volumes, appeals, deadlines, and payment posting quality.
- Ensure payments are posted correctly and checks are handled accurately.
- Identify workflow gaps and implement smart solutions.
- Review documentation accuracy (deductibles, copays, exclusions, discrepancies).
- Investigate payment inconsistencies and collaborate with accounting to resolve issues.
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and safeguard sensitive information.
- Prepare detailed performance, operational, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with contractors and the contracting party.
- Lead performance meetings and provide actionable feedback.
- Proactively address issues before they become problems.
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Dental Insurance Coordinator.
- Proven leadership experience in dental billing.
- Strong technical skills with dental billing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- A sharp eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
