Dentist needed in Klamath Falls, OR

A mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center located in Klamath Falls, Oregon is seeking a dedicated General Dentist to join their comprehensive dental care team. This opportunity offers the chance to serve a diverse and underserved population while enjoying a strong work-life balance in a scenic and welcoming community.

About the Role

  • Schedule Options:

    • Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

    • OR Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Friday until 5:00 PM, 1-hour lunch)

  • Patient Population: All ages, predominantly Medicaid

  • Team Environment:

    • 10 operatories, including 4 dedicated hygiene rooms

    • Collaborative team of 5 hygienists and 2–3 dental assistants per provider

  • Procedures: Routine exams, fillings, root canals, RPDs/dentures

  • Technology: Modern digital workflow with EWC, XDR, digital sensors, and panoramic imaging

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school

  • Current Oregon dental license (or eligibility to obtain before start)

  • Active DEA registration and BLS certification (or willingness to acquire)

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to serving underserved communities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a community health center, FQHC, or public health setting

  • Bilingual in Spanish or another language common in the area is a plus

  • Familiarity with dental EHR systems
