Job Description

We are currently hiring for a PRN Department Educator within the Physical Therapy department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Work Shift:

Rotating - Other

Compensation Range:

$0.00 - $0.00 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!

The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
  • Current and unrestricted license and/or certifications as required for primary role
  • Proven record of exceptional performance in primary role within the department
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a preceptor and/or mentor preferred.
  • Relevant Instructor certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) preferred.
  • Formal education and/or experience in adult education, training, and development preferred.

Position Overview:

Participates in and contributes to the development and implementation of high quality, timely education for department staff. Identifies opportunities for department-specific education using evidence-based practice and guidelines. Assists Department Director in developing and coordinating educational programs and staff development goals. Ensures appropriate documentation of all essential education completion. Serves as a facilitator by helping identify learning resources outside and within the facility. Acts as a consultant for employees and managers when educational issues arise. Participates in departmental orientation and onboarding of new employees. Works closely with Staff Development Specialists to support the AVH Core Values by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interdepartmental relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement.
