Position Summary

OMG Federal is proactively identifying qualified candidates for an upcoming opportunity supporting U.S. Army IT operations. This position is not currently funded but is anticipated as part of future program requirements. Selected candidates will be contacted as timelines are confirmed.

We are seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support enterprise IT operations at a Department of Defense site in Utah. The DPM will serve as the alternate to the Program Manager, assisting in the execution of program objectives and ensuring continuity of leadership, operations, and mission success.

AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED

Position Overview

The Deputy Program Manager supports the overall management of enterprise IT operations within Army test and evaluation environments. This role assists in overseeing program delivery, ensuring compliance with DoD standards, and coordinating across technical and operational teams. The DPM will act on behalf of the Program Manager when required and play a key role in maintaining operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day program operations across DoD enterprise IT environments
  • Serve as alternate to the Program Manager, assuming leadership responsibilities as needed
  • Assist in managing program schedules, risks, performance metrics, and deliverables
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, technical teams, and mission partners
  • Ensure compliance with RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements
  • Support delivery of services aligned with Army and ATEC mission needs
  • Assist in oversight of enterprise IT systems, including Windows-based environments
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery and operational processes
  • Support workforce compliance with DoD 8570/8140 requirements
  • Help oversee tools and platforms such as ServiceNow, VMware, Active Directory, and cybersecurity systems

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Eight plus (8+) years of federal experience supporting military or DoD environments
  • Current DoD 8570/8140 Baseline Certification
  • Current Computing Environment (CE) Certification aligned to the position
  • Experience in Army or DoD Enterprise IT Operations
  • Strong experience with Windows/Microsoft enterprise environments
  • Strongly Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with RMF and STIG compliance
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity or compliance initiatives in DoD environments
  • Familiarity with Army or ATEC operational environments

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Security+
  • PMP (or working toward certification)
  • ITIL

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and program activities
  • Availability during standard business hours with flexibility based on mission needs
