The Opportunity:

The CIS program supports our intelligence customer to deliver IT services to conduct its globally distributed operations. We are driving an exciting technological transformation of customer IT services by leading the design, development, implementation, and operation of cutting-edge solutions. This includes continuous service improvement through the modernization of IT system infrastructure.

CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Deputy Program Manager to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency. 

The position is contingent upon award of the DIA SITE III CIO Information Services (CIS) contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages team(s) of engineers, technology specialists, and service delivery resources to coordinate development and execution of customer-centric, enterprise-wide approaches to drive approved service quality and interoperability across strategic goals and efficiency requirements and initiatives

  • Assists PM and technical leads in overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle and adheres to comparable IT Service Management (ITSM) framework best practices

  • Responsible for team compliance with enterprise vision and governance policies/procedures/regulations, schedules, service delivery quality, and stakeholder engagement plans/actions IAW the contract documents and meets performance metrics set forth in the SLAs

  • Directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of the continuous requirement process for Tech Refresh of hardware to meet industry standards and develops and implements Tech Refresh Plan (TRP) IAW all Tech Refresh initiatives

  • Ensures high-quality delivery through collaborative customer and team processes, reviews, and demonstrations

  • Fosters open communication and collaboration to all levels of team structure; measures effectiveness using detailed performance metrics where practical

  • Champions IT/IM service delivery standards and values across the enterprise

  • Oversees quantifiable Continual Service Improvement (CSI) efforts

  • Provides guidance and support for improved IT management and control

  • Creates required documentation, reports, and data adhering to schedule, format, and content requirements specified by the contract

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Must hold a current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain Poly

  • Experience leading programs or projects of organizational significance

  • An AS/AA and 14+ years of experience, BS/BA and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience

  • Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)

  • Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.

Desired:

  • Degree in Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

  • Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
