Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by recording vital signs and gathering comprehensive medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are prepared and available.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and manage the collection and handling of clinical specimens.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to regulatory guidelines.
• Schedule patient appointments and facilitate effective office communications to optimize workflow.
• Educate patients on treatment options, medication use, and effective skincare routines.
• Ensure that examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with appropriate medical supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology, is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for positive patient interactions.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and standard office software is beneficial.

Compensation Range: $20.16 - $26.04 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
