Job Description

Rio Grande Dermatology is seeking an excellent, certified, full-time physician assistant to join our team.  Dermatology is a fast-paced, fun, and interesting procedural specialty that encompasses patients of all ages.

Interested applicants should be self-motivated, efficient, bright, and hard-working. Being personable, compassionate, and having great rapport with patients is a must. Once fully trained, the mid-level should be comfortable working autonomously, with appropriate and readily available supervision from the physician.

We offer a competitive salary and bonus structure as well as excellent benefits. The position offered is 4 days/week.

Our contemporary clinic uses an EMR that allows for greater efficiency (no dictating) and is user friendly.  Providers also have dedicated medical assistants.

Dermatology provides incomparable work-life balance to other specialties. Rio Grande Dermatology currently has two dermatologists, one Mohs surgeon, and four physician assistants. We have recently moved into a brand new, state-of-the-art facility which was designed for our clinic's unique operational flow.  Our group focuses heavily on medical and surgical dermatology, and less on cosmetic dermatology.

Dermatology experience is a huge plus, but not required.
