Job Description

Title: Design and Analysis Engineer 2 Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Salary Range: $55 - $60/hr. on W2 (Competetive)

Introduction

Join our team as a Design and Analysis Engineer 2, where you will be responsible for developing and documenting moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements. You will design hardware, software, and interface specifications, and ensure that system designs meet operational and functional requirements through testing and validation. This role involves solving problems related to fielded hardware and software throughout the entire product lifecycle and researching technology advances for potential application to business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with configuration management
Experience with Hardware in the loop testing
Knowledge of 1553 data bus and 429 data bus
Experience with hardware auditing or audit processes
Willingness to support second shift on occasion (3 pm - 12 am)
Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance if required
Prior work experience in the client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience in system integration and supplier performance monitoring
Problem-solving skills related to fielded hardware and software
Research skills for technology application

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements
Design hardware, software, and interface specifications
Test and validate system designs
Monitor supplier performance for system integration and compliance
Solve problems concerning fielded hardware and software
