Custom Foam Products is seeking a Design & Quality Engineer to play a key role in developing innovative engineered packaging solutions for leading customers across automotive, medical, electronics, and consumer markets. This position offers hands-on ownership from concept through launch in a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Design engineered packaging solutions using AutoCAD that align with manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, and customer requirements

• Support RFQs, quoting, and customer programs, providing technical insight and cost-effective solutions

• Lead and support PPAP activities, including design records, PFMEAs, control plans, and dimensional documentation

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Quality, Production, Purchasing, and Customers

• Drive continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949

• Solve real-world manufacturing and quality challenges using structured problem-solving methods

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience (manufacturing or packaging preferred)

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

• Working knowledge of PPAP, ISO 9001, and IATF 16949

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a team-first mindset
