Job Description:
The Design Coordinator sets the tone for the Cambria Showroom within the NFM store in Dallas, TX delivering exceptional customer service to create a lasting impression. They are brand ambassadors and product experts.
This position requires an interpersonal individual able to explore the customer's needs by asking succinct questions to match them with the best Cambria product for their project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in day to day operations of the sales floor
Planning, organizing and executing all space events with events and gallery team
Provide exceptional customer experience to all customers in the Cambria space
Generate sales leads and collaborate with the local sales teams in NFM
Learn and master Brand and product knowledge effectively
Make follow up phone calls with consumers on project status
Provide detailed information to better help homeowners and designers understand the benefits of Cambria
Assist consumers with design solutions for their project, as requested
Remain educated on current design trends in the industry
Merchandise displays and ensure brand standards are maintained within the Showroom
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, high level of organization and initiative
Passion for sales and closing skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external parties
Professional demeanor
Pronounced analytical and follow up skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Minimum Requirements
Education: College Degree (preferably Marketing, Interior Design / Home Fashion, Retail Sales)
Experience: 0-3 years' relevant experience in the retail showroom environment providing excellent customer service and event planning experience
Systems: Google Suites, Microsoft Office, Salesforce (preferred)
Additional Requirements
Physical Requirements: Showroom position requires some lifting of samples, up to 25 pounds and event set up.
Travel Requirements: N/A
