Overview
Job Description
This global manufacturer of frequency‑control components is seeking an engineer with over a decade of experience designing complex oscillators, such as high‑stability timing sources, precision frequency‑controlled devices, and advanced temperature‑ or voltage‑sensitive oscillator systems.
Client Details
My client is a global manufacturer specializing in frequency‑control components such as crystals, oscillators, filters, antennas, and other RF solutions, supported by strong R&D capabilities and multiple production facilities across Asia. The company serves a wide range of industries-including consumer, industrial, medical, computing, satellite, automotive, and some defense applications-and operates through a worldwide distribution network.
Description
In this role you will report directly into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for...
- Designing and developing complex oscillator systems, including high‑stability timing sources and precision frequency‑controlled devices.
- Leading the design process from initial concept and simulation through prototyping, testing, and final validation.
- Analyzing frequency stability, phase‑noise performance, environmental behavior, and long‑term reliability of oscillator designs.
- Collaborating with R&D, manufacturing, and product teams to ensure feasibility, manufacturability, and performance consistency.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation such as schematics, test plans, reports, and specifications.
- Supporting production teams and overseas manufacturing sites by providing design expertise and troubleshooting guidance.
- Evaluating new materials, components, and technologies to enhance performance and reduce variability across production.
- Working with customers and internal teams to understand application needs and translating them into optimized oscillator solutions.
- Conducting root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for issues identified during testing or field use.
- Staying current with emerging technologies and trends in timing, frequency control, and related RF components.
Profile
A successful candidate will have...
- 10+ years of experience designing complex oscillator systems or precision frequency‑control technologies
- Strong background in RF, analog, and mixed‑signal circuit design
