We are looking for a creative and dynamic Design Engineer to join our team and help us build exceptional products for our customers. Job Description: We are searching for a Design Engineer who is motivated and excited by innovation in the branded environments and architectural elements space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record creating new products using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other 3D modelling software. This role is critical to our operations and will involve designing and optimizing signage products to ensure efficiency and quality. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop new products and optimize existing suite of products for efficiency and quality. Utilize CAD Software, 3D Modelling software, and Adobe products to create technical drawings and 3D renderings for internal and external usage, providing clear instructions for fabrication and installation. Use Router programming software such as Enroute and Router-CIM in order to create CNC files and push to manufacturing workstations. Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to create accurate and functional designs. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines. Maintain accurate records of design changes and project documentation. Assist in the creation and maintenance of bill of materials for all incoming and existing projects. Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technology including software, equipment, machinery, and tools to enhance capabilities. Observe production workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and reduce costs. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high quality products and services to customers. Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing/engineering issues as they arise. Assist in the maintenance of documentation for all manufacturing processes and procedures. Skills and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field. Advanced skill level in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar. Case Study will be provided.) Minimum of 3 years of experience in Design Engineering. Signage experience is a plus but not required. Proven experience in building and optimizing products from scratch. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. High energy and a proactive approach to work.
