Design Engineer

JOB TITLE: Design EngineerLOCATION: Marietta, GAPAY RATE: $56-59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Verify completeness and accuracy of AMMM engineering Build-to-Packages (BTPs)

• Evaluate releasability of engineering data in accordance with program standards

• Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and bills of material

• Ensure technical data is accurate, complete, and clear for downstream users

• Support engineering release schedule commitments in a fast-paced environment

• Perform layout reviews for clarity, compliance, and dimensional accuracy

• Identify design errors, omissions, and recommend corrective actions

• Support surge requirements related to NOAA and C-130 upgrade programs

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Engineering or related technical field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or similar)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven team environment

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

• Proficiency in PC operations and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to obtain and maintain required special access (facility requires special access)

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
