Design Engineer

JOB TITLE: Design EngineerLOCATION: Fort Worth, TXPAY RATE: $30-110/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Create and/or modify primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, and installations.

• Develop and update interface control models and documentation.

• Contribute to development, testing, and validation of aircraft structural designs.

• Assist in developing system requirements, trade studies, statements of work (SOW), and test plans.

• Coordinate with internal IPTs and interface with external IPTs and suppliers as required.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field required.

• Minimum 3 years of armament experience, including one or more of the following:

  • External stores/fuel tanks

  • Pylons

  • Pods

• Minimum 5 years of recent structural design experience.

• Minimum 5 years of CATIA V5 experience.

• Minimum 5 years of experience creating and/or modifying primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
