Leadership Position Within A Top Packaging ManufacturerOur client is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance, sustainable packaging solutions. They specialize in flexible and thermoformed packaging serving highly regulated industries including medical, food and beverage, and consumer goods. The organization offers a collaborative and innovation-driven environment, with a strong focus on advancing packaging technology and supporting long-term growth. This role sits within a key division focused on medical packaging, where the business is continuing to invest and expand its engineering capabilities.Job DescriptionLead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-5 design engineers
Oversee the design and development of thermoformed medical packaging products
Drive project execution from concept through production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and commercial teams
Serve as a key point of contact for customers, supporting technical discussions and project updates
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including medical packaging guidelines
Support continuous improvement initiatives across design and engineering processes

Strong background in medical packaging design within a regulated environment
Proven leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams
Proficiency in CAD and hands-on design capabilities
Ability to lead projects from concept through production while meeting customer and regulatory requirements
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with customers
