Design Engineer - Land Development Division

Key Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer, you will work closely with project managers and senior engineers to support the planning, design, and execution of land development projects. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing stormwater management systems for both new and existing developments.
  • Preparing grading and drainage designs for a variety of site development projects.
  • Developing plans for roads, retaining walls, swales, and stormwater management facilities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction plans.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Supporting project execution while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and design standards.

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities with sound engineering judgment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work successfully within a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on Land Development.
  • 1-2 years of experience in grading, drainage, and site development design.
  • Experience working in an engineering consulting or construction-related environment preferred.
