In this role, you'll be designing and improving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components & systems. This role is the link that connects product design & production! You will be supporting both new product development & continuous improvement of existing equipment & systems. • 2 + years of Design Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems! (experience owning larger, complex, heavy equipment systems)
• Excited to work on the shop floor with technicians on redesigns!
• Fundamental knowledge of reverse engineering and reengineering as that will be a big part of this role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering (Or equivalent) is required
• SolidWorks proficiency, with experience in product data management and ERP systems
• Previous experience with troubleshooting, problem-solving, teamwork and good communication skills are essential!
• Previous experience developing efficient and reliable manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing practices, Value Engineering (VE), and Six Sigma
