- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems by studying product and manufacturing methods.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new products and improvements to existing products.
- Use your expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma to reduce waste and improve efficiency in our manufacturing processes.
- Lead product development efforts, including conceptualization, design, prototyping, testing, and production.
- Use CAD software to create detailed designs and specifications for mechanical equipment and systems.
- Perform detailed analyses to ensure that designs meet and exceed performance and reliability requirements.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and support maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on manufacturing.
- Proficiency in PLC, Preventative Maintenance, Process Improvement, Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Product Development, AutoCAD, Machine Design, CAD, FEA, DFM/DFA, Control Systems, and Electrical Schematics.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using CAD software for machine design and product development.
- Demonstrated experience in control systems and electrical schematics.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
