Primary Skills: Interactive Web Experience Development (advanced), HTML/CSS/JavaScript (advanced), AI-Assisted Development (advanced), Experience Builder/Design Systems(advanced), A/B Testing & Engagement Optimization (intermediate-advanced) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 5 Months Location: Oakland, CA (#LI-Hybrid) Pay Range: $75- $80#LPJob Summary:This role is responsible for building net-new interactive and gamified member experiences within Credit Karma’s Experience Builder platform. The ideal candidate will combine front-end development, content/design thinking, and AI-assisted workflows to rapidly turn ideas into engaging experiences such as games, quizzes, polls, and trivia. The role focuses heavily on experimentation, user engagement, rapid prototyping, and optimizing experiences based on performance data.Key Responsibilities:Build and launch interactive member experiences including games, polls, trivia, quizzes, and other engagement-focused formats. Use AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and production. Develop experiences within Credit Karma’s Experience Builder platform and existing Containers ecosystem/design system. Rapidly prototype concepts and convert ideas into production-ready interactive experiences. Partner with the team to improve click-through, completion, repeat engagement, and monthly active member metrics. Support A/B testing and experimentation, using performance data to refine and improve experiences. Ensure all deliverables meet brand, accessibility, QA, and production-quality standards. Work collaboratively with stakeholders and respond quickly to feedback in a fast-paced, iterative environment.Must-Have Skills:Hands-on experience building interactive web experiences, games, quizzes, or gamified content. Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills; React experience is a plus. Demonstrated hands-on use of AI development/prototyping tools such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar. Experience working within an existing platform, design system, or component ecosystem rather than building entirely from scratch. Strong understanding of design principles, content design, and/or content strategy. Experience with testing, experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven iteration. Ability to work independently, move quickly, incorporate feedback, and operate effectively with minimal oversight. Strong verbal and written English communication skills. A strong online portfolio showcasing interactive/gamified experiences, craft, and collaborative process.Industry Experience:Experience in consumer technology, fintech, digital products, media, marketing technology, or high-engagement web/mobile experiences is preferred.
