Job Summary
This resource is responsible for preparing, configuring, imaging, and deploying end-user computing devices across the firm. The role supports the end-to-end device readiness lifecycle, including new hire deployments, hardware refreshes, and VDI or virtual desktop readiness. The position ensures devices are secure, compliant, and fully operational prior to end-user delivery.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that regularly balances device builds, ServiceNow assignments, deployment deadlines, associate communications, inventory tracking, and unexpected technical issues. Technicians are expected to recognize build failures, perform thorough quality checks, communicate problems promptly, and coordinate with local and remote support teams to keep deployments moving. The work may include standard laptop builds, specialized business software, virtual endpoints, large deployment projects, and onsite equipment installation.
This role is part of the Build & Deploy / End User Computing Technology Operations team. There are 4 resources supporting Baltimore, Maryland (Harbor Point / HQ) and 6 resources supporting Owings Mills, Maryland (Campus), with occasional support between Maryland locations as needed.

- Manage assigned device-configuration tasks and maintain accurate asset, status, ownership, and work-note records in ServiceNow

- Experience with enterprise deployment and endpoint-management tools such as Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, and Company Portal
