As a Detail & Transport Specialist at Alaska Auto Rental, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our rental vehicles are impeccably clean and ready for our valued renters.
• Position: Automotive Detail & Transport Specialist• Location: Seward, Alaska• Pay Rate: $18-$22/hour DOE• Schedule flexibility & weekend availability is required for this position.

What to Expect:
Independence & Responsibility: This position requires working independently without direct supervision, ensuring vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and ready for customers.
Hands-On Work: Keep vehicles looking their best by thoroughly cleaning and detailing both the interior and exterior.
Fast-Paced Environment: Engage in a variety of tasks, from vehicle cleaning to facility maintenance and organization.
Customer Interaction: Transport rental vehicles, ensuring safe and professional service.
Technology Use: Take and send vehicle photos using a smartphone and perform basic computer data entry.
Decision Making: Problem-solving and handling day-to-day operations efficiently without a direct team on-site.
What We're Looking For:
Self-Motivated & Independent: Able to work efficiently without supervision, ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ensures accuracy in inspections, key-handling, and cleaning procedures.
Reliability & Professionalism: Punctual, responsible, and able to maintain professionalism in all situations.
Problem-Solving Skills: Able to handle unexpected issues with a positive attitude.
Adaptability: Thrives in an independent work environment and manages shifting priorities.
Strong Communication Skills: Effectively communicates with remote team members and customers.
Physical Capability: Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally and perform physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of driving experience, a current driver’s license, and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
Ability to work varying shifts and schedules, including weekends.
Must be punctual and able to work independently.
Must own a working smartphone.
Must not use tobacco or marijuana products during working hours.
