Interior Detailing of BoatsExterior Detailing of Boats

MAJOR DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

Knowledge/experience in the cutting, buffing polishing, and detailing of marine services.Able to review work orders and determine the scope of the job. When scope is greater, obtain approval from manager.Complete WO and Detail Check Sheets as applicable to the work requested.Enter time in Dockmaster when work complete with “tech notes” (comments) as needed. Mark detail done on software App Master Schedule.Inspect parts, equipment, and boats for cleanliness, damage and compliance with standards.Scrub, scrape, or spray parts, equipment, or boats using scrapers, brushes, cloths, cleaners, disinfectants, insecticides, acid abrasives, vacuums, or hoses.Mix cleaning solutions, abrasive compositions, or other compounds, according to formulas.Clean and polish new, used and customer boats.Bottom and exterior washing of boats as necessaryResponsible for checking cleanliness of all serviced boats, covers installed properly and ready of pick upMaintains and clean-up areas dailyReports all low inventory or shortages of clean-up productsEnsures all equipment is returned to appropriate place after useEnsures all supplies, tools and equipment is in good working condition at all timesReports all damaged or malfunctioning equipment to department headReports any fading gelcoat, cracks, holes or other defects to managerAttends department meetings as requiredRequest boats in and out of bay.Follows all safety precautions and procedures at all timesPerforms other related duties as required or assignedOther tasks as assigned
