Job Description
At Radix Recovery, we believe the detox process should be safe, compassionate, and respectful. We're seeking skilled and empathetic Detox Technicians to support clients through substance withdrawal by providing medical observation, emotional support, and clinical coordination.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client intakes including medication reconciliation and accurate documentation in the EHR.
- Record vital signs and monitor clients for symptoms during detoxification.
- Administer routine and PRN medications as directed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and mental health professionals, to support individualized care.
- Respond to urgent medical and behavioral situations calmly and effectively.
- Provide emotional support using motivational interviewing and trauma-informed approaches.
- Assist with documentation for treatment plans and insurance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR, OSHA, and all regulatory and internal policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility environment.
- Educate clients about the recovery process and medical aspects of addiction.
- Foster a culturally competent and supportive space for healing.
Who You Are
- High school diploma or GED required; healthcare experience highly preferred.
- At least 2 years of direct client or patient care experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and vital signs monitoring.
- Skilled in crisis de-escalation and empathetic engagement with individuals in emotional distress.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, emotionally dynamic work environment.
- Collaborative, dependable, and committed to excellent care delivery.
