We see this as a significant strength, and it shows: ATS is consistently ranked as a top workplace among DC area firms and continues to grow.We are actively hiring a Dev Ops Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to support a program in Bethesda, MD, providing Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems. This role will closely work Development as well as other technology stakeholders to maintain, develop and support IC enterprise products. The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems. This role will help automate and streamline operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations, and troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments. Primary ResponsibilitiesSupports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems.Managing, building, configuring, administering, operating and maintaining all components that comprise the DevOps environment.Defining enterprise Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes and best practicesCodifying DevOps best practices across the enterpriseDeveloping and maintaining scripts to automate tool deployment to an AWS cloud environment and other tasks.Scripting and maintaining build environments.Working with project teams to integrate their products into the DevOps environment.Basic QualificationsDemonstrated experience setting up one or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.Demonstrated experience troubleshooting issues with two or more of the following tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Katalon Studio.Demonstrated experience working within a software development team and supporting developers and developer activities.Candidate must have HS diploma and at least 20 years of relevant experience; or Master’s degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience; or Doctorate degree and at least 13 years of relevant experience. Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in science, technical, or engineering discipline.AWS Associate Certification (Developer, Solution Architect, or Sys Ops Administrator)AWS Professional Certification (DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect)Demonstrated experience in container orchestration using Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes, or AWS ECS/ECRDemonstrated experience with Languages including Java, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, and Unix shell ScriptingDemonstrated experience with Ansible, or Puppet.Pay Range: There are many factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
