Join our team as a Development Project Manager at Gorman & Company in Colorado!
Gorman & Company is seeking a Development Project Manager to support the growth of our affordable housing pipeline across Colorado. This role works closely with the Market President and cross-functional teams to bring new communities to life-from early site identification and funding strategy through project completion. What You'll Do
Support affordable housing developments from early concept through completion in partnership with the Market President and development team
Identify potential development sites and assist in building a strong pipeline of LIHTC, workforce, and other affordable housing opportunities
Coordinate pre-development activities including site feasibility, zoning analysis, financial viability, and community engagement
Assist with preparing and submitting applications for funding sources including housing finance agencies and other public programs
Collaborate with internal teams including architecture, construction, and property management to evaluate project feasibility and scope
Attend entitlement meetings, community meetings, and public presentations to support project approvals and stakeholder engagement
Conduct site visits and provide project updates, reports, and documentation throughout the development process
What You'll Bring
3-5 years of previous experience within affordable housing real estate development
Experience participating in or supporting closed affordable housing transactions
Hands-on experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Comfort with public speaking and presenting to community stakeholders, boards, and government agencies
Flexibility and adaptability when working across multiple projects and evolving timelines
Ability to build relationships with municipalities, partners, and community organizations
Previous experience working with Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) preferred
Valid drivers license & proof of vehicle liability insurance
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range of $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
Eligibility for development closing bonuses
Participation in the company equity participation plan
Hybrid work options with office locations in Denver or Steamboat Springs
Travel opportunities to project sites throughout Colorado
