Job Description

JSG is recruiting for a Deviation Management Specialist - I (Assistant) in Durham NC. In this dynamic role, you will provide essential scientific support to manufacturing operations, investigate atypical events, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions. As a key player in a manufacturing team, your expertise will help optimize processes, reduce deviations, and maintain compliance with cGMP standards. Pay $41.78/hourRequired Skills:

Bachelors or Masters degree in an engineering, scientific, or related field*
0-3 years of experience in a cGMP environment within pharmaceuticals or biotech*
Proven experience in writing investigations for process deviations
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and problem-solving capabilities*
Strong written and verbal communication skills*
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

Nice to Have Skills:

Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or technical operations*
Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis*
Knowledge of aseptic manufacturing processes

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree with 1-2 years of post-graduate real-world experience in pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing*
Experience handling deviation incidents and investigations
