Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid — 3 days/week onsite; only local candidates will be considered)
Company Overview Our client is a leading multinational telecommunications technology company driving large-scale cloud modernization initiatives.
Project Description Our client has an urgent need for a DevOps Engineer to automate and manage cloud deployments and support scalable, cloud-native systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate cloud deployments using Terraform and Ansible
- Design and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Deploy and support microservices and containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker
- Deploy and monitor Azure resources
- Implement logging, monitoring, and observability solutions using Azure Log Analytics, Prometheus/Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
- Optimize cloud-native systems and collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to improve delivery and enforce standards
Mandatory Skills
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
- Strong experience with Azure, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across Dev, QA, and Ops teams to enforce standards and streamline delivery
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks, observability tools, agile methodologies, cloud governance, and security best practices
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) certification
- Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification
