This individual will help ensure our trading systems operate reliably, particularly during off-hours, while improving operational processes, debugging application issues, and maintaining critical infrastructure. You will work closely with developers, traders, and technology teams to support deployments, strengthen system stability, and contribute to a resilient and scalable trading platform.MA Capital employs individuals with a passion for innovation and solving hard problems. Troubleshooting & Debugging: Diagnose misbehaving applications, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver clear post-mortem writeups.
Operational Processes: Maintain accurate JIRA tickets, documentation, and runbooks to support operational excellence.
Systems Management: Support Linux environments used across trading and development teams.
Networking & Infrastructure: Work with TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, NFS, and tunnels to ensure system connectivity and stability.
Environment Management: Support Docker-based environments and job schedulers such as cron.

Required Qualifications

Languages & Formats: Shell scripting, Python, YAML, JSON.
Core Technologies: Linux systems, TCP/IP networking, firewalls, DNS, NFS, LDAP/ActiveDirectory, job schedulers, and data feeds.
DevOps Tools: Experience with Ansible or other IaC tools, Git/GitHub, and GDB/core dump analysis.
Documentation: Ability to produce clear procedures, operational documentation, and post-mortems.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy and thoroughness in operational workflows and incident analysis.
