Job Description
Location: Colorado Springs, CO (Schriever SFB) Work Arrangement: 100% On-site. Primary site: Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO. On-site position. Schedule: Four 10's, Monday-Thursday; Friday-Sunday off; onsite only Interview: On-site Contract: Direct hire permanent role Visas Accepted: U.S. citizenship required. Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Role Overview Supports the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program by designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Nutanix hyperconverged cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Ansible or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.
- Design, develop, implement, test, and validate automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Track infrastructure impacts from events such as patching and maintenance.
Required Technical Skills
- Active Top Secret clearance required at start. Clearance must be verifiable in DISS.
- Virtualization experience with VMware, Red Hat OpenStack, or Nutanix.
- Linux and/or Windows Server administration.
- Scripting with Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible.
- Experience on a Scrum team in an Agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- GitLab CI/CD pipeline development.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ansible configuration management.
- Nutanix hyperconverged on-premises cloud.
- Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Scrum Master experience.
