A day in the life:
We're seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop and maintain complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions that support scalable, reliable , and secure environments across development and production systems. In this role, you will implement automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes to enable consistent, repeatable deployments and improve overall system stability. The primary focus of this position is to increaes efficiency and reliability by reducing manual processes, improving deployment workflows, and ensuring that builds and releases are consistent, secure, and highly reliable.
What you bring to the table:
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. Four (4) addn'l years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
- Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
- Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
- Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
- Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containers
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration
The total package:
- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $115,000 - $175,000.
