DevOps Engineer

Hybrid working model - Novi Sad or Belgrade

Role Description

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of complex cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD ecosystems supporting financial trading applications. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes-based platforms, automation, and monitoring, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate AWS-based cloud infrastructure for mission-critical systems

• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Spinnaker, GitHub Actions)

• Build, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters which host CI/CD tools and client applications

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

• Create automation scripts and tooling using Bash and Python

• Improve and support existing monitoring and observability solutions (metrics, logs, alerting)

• Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security across environments

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex production issues and incidents

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Development, Security, Cloud Infrastructure)

• Identify and remove bottlenecks in build, test, and deployment processes

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and platform standardization

Your profile

Must Have Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure / Platform Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform

• Extensive experience with Kubernetes

• Strong containerization expertise using Docker

• Proven experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipeline design

• Strong scripting skills in Bash

• Practical experience with Python

• Solid experience with monitoring and observability tools

• Ability to own and manage infrastructure end-to-end

• Excellent troubleshooting skills across distributed systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Snowflake

• Experience with Spinnaker

• Experience with Oracle databases

• Experience with ArgoCD
