DevOps Manager sought by Merastar Insurance Company in Jacksonville, FL. 40 hrs./wk. Duties include: Define best practices in secure SDLC & Infrastructure Automation space. Lead team responsible for automating & managing infrastructure & automation platforms. Ensure comprehensive project documentation in DevOps space. Lead cross-functional teams in large project initiatives. Complete audit requirements on SOX controlled SDLC tools. Manage SDLC software acquisition & lifecycle. Manage timecards & team project allocation. Manage performance goals & team evaluations. Manage approval process for SDLC system access. Manage change control process for SDLC systems. Identify process improvement opportunities. Clear blockers in DevOps project space. Remote working / telecommuting benefits available. Hybrid position. Due to annual 65 days remote policy, position requires in-office attendance at 5555 Gate Parkway, Suite 500, Jacksonville, FL 32256 approx. 3 times per wk. MIN REQ.: Bach. degree, or foreign equiv., in Comp. Sci., Mgmt. Info Tech. or related field. 5 yrs exp. in job offered or as DevOps Eng, Developer, IT Infrastructure / Platform Developer or closely related occupation. SPECIAL REQ: 5 yrs exp in: BASH; AWS, including services like EKS, EC2, S3, & EFS; SDLC toolchain including Jenkins, GitLab, & Artifactory; & working in regulated industry, like insurance or banking. 3 yrs exp in: Python; build tools, including maven, Gradle, Docker, etc.; agile methodologies; & mentorship to develop others' skill sets. 1 yr exp using GenAI tools, including Amazon Q.
