Position Description: Employees in this job function are responsible for building, testing and maintaining the infrastructure and tools for software/ code development, deployment and release. They also help the organization speed up and automate aspects of the software lifecycle through a series of DevOps practices and processes Key Responsibilities: 1. Imbibe DevOps methodology and practices across the product lifecycle for various software components 2. Accelerate software releases while ensuring security and mitigating the risk of failed/ recalled software releases 3. Ensure increase in cycle speed between feedback from end-user to an updated software by leveraging continuous integration, continuous deployment, and continuous feedback 4. Assess current systems and processes, and identify and implement ways to improve them 5. Utilize platform and enterprise tools and infrastructure to facilitate DevOps methodology and approach 6. Assist code/ software releases and deployments in various environments like production, testing, sandbox etc. 7. Identify and spearhead creation of automation and innovation opportunities throughout the software product lifecycleSkills Required: GitHub, Continuous Improvement Process, Jenkins, Java, API, PythonSkills Preferred: Kubernetes, GCP, Google Cloud Platform, DockerExperience Required:• Must have 3+ years' experience supporting and managing with Github.com EMU platform • Must have good understanding of CI / CD pipeline including Jenkins, GitHub Actions • Must have scripting knowledge in JavaScript, Java/SpringBoot or Python to automate process • Nice to have: AI / ML bot and security, MCP serverExperience Preferred:• Proactively monitor support tickets and collaborate with customers to resolve GitHub platform and integration-related issues efficiently • Demonstrate flexibility by collaborating with global teams outside of standard business hours as needed • Able to come to office at least 4 days a week from 8 AM to 4:30 PM EST. Work on weekends if required within the 40 hours per week limit. • Write scripts to automate common tasks • Simplify complex ideas and conveys them clearly in both oral and written communication • Gather needs of customers at Client and design and develop tools to meet them • Able to multitask and work on multiple systems to meet tight deadlines • Analyze and identify areas of concern/opportunity and recommend solutions to improve • Collaborate with Development Teams to troubleshoot and recommend tuning of CI/CD pipelines • Agile personality and system admin and automation mindset for contributing and leading the agile team for quality deliverables • Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies: o Backlog Refinement/Planning o Stand-ups o RetrospectivesEducation Required: Bachelor's DegreeEducation Preferred: Certification ProgramAdditional Information: 4 days on site V2Soft is an Equal Opportunity Employer ( EOE).
