DevOps Software Engineer

Position Description:Red Arch Solutions is hiring a DevOps Software Engineer on a priority program in Annapolis Junction, MD. The DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. This position’s focus is on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.Position Required Skills:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college oruniversity, plus three (3) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similarscope, type, and complexity.ORBachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college oruniversity, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similarscope, type, and complexityORSeven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems
• Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement
• Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Travis CI, or CircleCI
• Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
• Experience with Dev/Sec/Ops processes and related FOSS toolchains
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Containerd
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills:

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies for project management and collaboration

Salary range for this position $160,000-$165,000 #CJ
