Position Overview
CLFC Healthcare & Communications is seeking a Board Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center (CMCVAMC) in Philadelphia, PA. This position supports a 3-year IDIQ contract providing diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine interpretation services for the veteran patient population served by VISN 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic radiology studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, plain film, and fluoroscopic examinations
- Provide nuclear medicine (NM) radiological interpretations as required
- Deliver timely, accurate radiology reports in compliance with VA standards
- Consult with referring physicians and clinical staff regarding imaging findings and recommendations
- Participate in quality assurance and peer review activities
- Maintain compliance with VA credentialing, privileging, and continuing education requirements
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
- Current DEA registration (if applicable)
- Minimum 3 years of post-residency clinical experience in diagnostic radiology
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident authorization to work in a VA facility
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Board Certified or fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine
- Prior VA or federal healthcare facility experience
- Experience with VA CPRS/VistA electronic health record system
- Fellowship training in subspecialty radiology (body imaging, neuroradiology, or musculoskeletal)
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate: $200 - $250/hr commensurate with experience and subspecialty qualifications
- Multi-year IDIQ contract with stable, predictable scheduling
