Job Description
Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Vascular and Interventional RadiologyJoin our dynamic team as a renowned Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes through innovative diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role offers an exciting opportunity to perform a diverse range of interventional radiology cases, including embolizations, pulmonary thrombectomy, drainages, IVC filter placements, central venous access, TIPS, thoracentesis, and paracentesis, all within a supportive and collaborative environment. - Proven proficiency in embolization, pulmonary thrombectomy, drainages (abscess, nephrostomy, biliary)
- Experience with IVC filter insertion and central venous access (dialysis catheters, central lines, PICCs)
- Skilled in TIPS procedures, thoracentesis, and paracentesis
- Strong knowledge of vascular and interventional radiology protocols
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting
- Excellent technical and communication skills
- Relevant certifications and license to practice radiology/interventional radiology
- Experience with advanced imaging modalities
- Previous exposure to complex vascular interventions
- Multidisciplinary collaboration experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
- Board Certification in Radiology with sub-specialization in Interventional Radiology
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a diagnostic and interventional radiology setting
- Prior experience with IR procedures in a hospital or academic environment
- Must be available to begin on June 8, 2026, starting at 7:00 am
- Coverage includes daily IR cases and call through June 12 at 4:30 pm
- Willingness to participate in a schedule that may involve on-call duties and weekend shifts
- Valid state medical licensure and relevant certifications
- Travel reimbursements and licensure support available as applicable
