What You’ll Do
  • Interpret and analyze diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine images within your specialty
  • Collaborate with residents and medical staff on overnight cases
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case logs for each shift
  • Utilize Sectra PACS, Cerner EMR, and Powerscribe dictation systems
  • Ensure compliance with all medical and legal standards for remote radiology practice
  • Provide timely, accurate reports for emergency department cases (80-130 cases per shift)
  • Participate in resident teaching and guidance during overnight shifts
What You NeedRequired:
  • Active radiology license and DEA waiver (not necessarily a DEA license)
  • Proven experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine
  • Ability to work overnight shifts at least 7 shifts per month
  • Submission of recent NPDB report (within last 30 days) and case logs
  • Clean malpractice history
Preferred:
  • Experience working with Sectra, Cerner, or Powerscribe systems
  • Prior resident teaching experience
About the AssignmentThis position is based at a leading facility in Detroit, MI, and is designed for radiologists seeking a flexible, remote role with overnight coverage. The position involves interpreting a high volume of mixed ED cases with a team of 2-3 residents.
