DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease at our Rockside Dialysis outpatient clinic in Independence, Ohio.

As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Some details about this position:

• Operational Hours: MWF 4:30am- 7:30pm, TTHS 6:00am- 2:00pm

• PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am

• This clinic uses Fresenius Blue Stat 2018 T machines and has 16 chairs. M/W/F schedules 1 RN and 4 Dialysis Techs, T/Th/S 1 RN and 2 Dialysis Techs per shift

• Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training

• You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday

• Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license

• Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates other than your assigned home clinic

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care

• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment

• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment

• Record vital signs and patient data

• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health

• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment

• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet

• Willing to float between local clinics if needed

• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
