Triangle Dies & Supplies is a long-standing manufacturer of steel rule cutting dies and die supplies that supports packaging and converting customers with specialized tooling solutions. We're looking for a hands-on assembler who takes pride in accuracy, craftsmanship, and getting it right the first time.
What You'll Do
You'll build, prepare, and finish die components to customer specifications while supporting quality, safety, and production schedules. Typical work includes:
Assemble dies, strippers, blankers, and related components using drawings/specs
Apply ejection materials, adhesives, and rubber using proper tools/techniques
Operate production equipment such as routers, pinsetters, cutters, and gluing equipment
Prepare dies for ruling/folding/finishing; verify paperwork/specs; record time and quantities in the system
Inspect parts and finished components; identify and report nonconformances
Perform basic equipment care (cleaning, upkeep) to support uptime and quality
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow all PPE/safety requirements
Support cross-training and help the team meet customer deadlines
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–3 years of manufacturing/assembly experience preferred (die making, packaging, printing, converting is a plus)
Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and customer specs
Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
Basic math skills (measurements, tape measure use, conversions)
Basic computer/data entry skills (ERP/order tracking experience is a plus)
Reliable, punctual, and able to work at pace while staying safe and accurate
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Manufacturing environment with moderate-to-high noise; PPE required
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching
Regular lifting/carrying up to 65 lbs (heavier with assistance)
