Position Summary: Clark Bros. Inc. is looking for a Diesel and Gas Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of experience. As an experienced diesel and gas mechanic you will perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel and gas systems on our fleet of equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment. The Mechanic is responsible for service documentation, training junior technicians, accurately ordering parts from vendors along with various other tasks.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work on equipment repairs and maintenance
- Conduct equipment functionality, use, and safety tests
- Train mechanics as needed
- Commute to job sites to conduct equipment maintenance and repairs if needed
- Utilize various computer applications and programs
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Minimum of five years of experience repairing and maintaining construction equipment
- Highly developed mechanical background with various construction or heavy machinery, specifically repairing hydraulics, electric systems, diesel & gas engines
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Own tools required to perform job
- Exhibit strong teamwork, written and verbal communications skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic knowledge and use of office equipment and computer skills
