Diesel Mechanic Hiring Now!Location: Waterloo, IA Pay: $20-30/hr depending on experience Shift: Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pmAdvance Services is seeking hardworking and dependable Diesel Mechanics to join a growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience working on trucks and trailers, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair shop environment.Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers*
- Complete DOT inspections on trucks and trailers*
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues*
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine service work*
- Operate welding and torch equipment as needed*
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment*
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner*
- Accurately document repairs and inspections completed
- Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience preferred*
- Knowledge of truck and trailer systems and components*
- Ability to complete DOT inspections*
- Welding and torch experience preferred*
- Must have own tools*
- CDL license is a plus, but not required
