Job Description
DIESEL MECHANICAutomation Personnel Services is looking for a Diesel Mechanic for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow with a locally owned company. You will primarily be responsible for diagnostics, engine repair, and maintenance on vehicles.
Pay Rate$24.00 to $25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule and HoursMonday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 00 pm.
Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues with a vehicle’s engine, transmission, and electrical system. Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles. Use provided part descriptions and manuals to perform maintenance. Test and adjust repaired systems. Complete all paperwork needed.
Diesel Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in an industrial or shop environment is preferred. Certification or some schooling in Automotive Mechanics or related field is preferred. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
