Diesel Mechanic I, II & III

Position Details

Location: Hinds County, MS
Pay: $24.00–$30.00/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Nights | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Inspect, service, and repair engines, brakes, suspension, steering, hydraulic, electrical, and air systems.
Complete work orders accurately while following company safety standards.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to keep equipment operating efficiently.

Qualifications

Experience as a Diesel Mechanic I, II, or III (or equivalent experience)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Preventive maintenance experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to quality workmanship and safety
