This role involves working on a wide range of diesel-powered equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical components, and specialty emergency systems in both shop and field environments.Why join us?Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm Some Travel RequiredExellent BenefisRoom for GrowthJob DetailsDiagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and drivetrainsPerform preventive maintenance inspections and services (PMs)Repair and rebuild fire pumps, valves, piping, and water systemsTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and aerial componentsPerform 12-volt electrical diagnostics, repair, and replacementConduct brake, suspension, steering, and chassis repairsService HVAC and auxiliary vehicle systems as neededComplete pump testing and operational checksPerform on-site service calls using mobile service units when requiredAccurately document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all safety procedures and regulatory requirementsEquipment & Vehicles ServicedFire pumpers, aerials, rescues, tankers, and ambulancesUTVs and specialty emergency vehiclesDiesel engines, fire pumps, hydraulic and electrical systemsQualificationsProven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment TechnicianStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systemsExperience working on fire apparatus or emergency vehicles preferredAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagramsEVT certification or willingness to obtain preferredValid driver’s license; CDL a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a teamInterested in hearing more?
